My First Trip To Jamaica

I bet you have been wondering where I have been this past month without a new post. Well one thing I have been doing is holidaying in Jamaica! I had so much fun visiting with grandpa and my uncle's Winthrope, Winfield and Wingate. I also made a lot of new friends there, take a look...

that's me at the airport waiting for the plane and the boy beside me is called Kyto. We became friends after he shared some crisps with me, but I just couldn't stop eating them, so mummy got me my own packet
this is me walking on the beach for the first time
The ocean was so big, it went on forever
making friends with a lady called Abi, she played with me whilst mummy and daddy ate breakfast
that's me with grandpa and the beautiful sunset
there we are again with uncle Winthrope and daddy

the first of many games of "ball" I couldn't really play the real game of pool because the table was too high, so I just rolled the balls

these men were playing a game of dominoes, they let me watch
mummy said that daddy had something on his head, so that I would look at the camera, that is why I look so funny
another photo with mummy
we went to look at grandpa's new house that's being built up in the hills, it was very big
that's me with my uncle's and daddy on the patio at grandpa's house
my footprints in the sand, I also tried writing my name but the sea came and whooshed it away
a photo of me, mummy and the moon
a nice one of all three of us and the beautiful sunset
I can't remember what was so funny
making a new friend, his name is Emrah and he played ball with me and uncle Winfield

enjoying a piece of cake in the Italian Cafe in Negril, if you go there the chocolate cake is really tasty
we went to the cliffs to watch the big waves, it was scary at times
I found a shell, which I brought home with me as a memento
in the hot tub with a bunch of girls I made friends with
me and mummy in the little pool
having a swim all by myself
me and uncle Winthrope
trying my best to play pool but I just couldn't see the balls
"did you see the ball, it went right up in the sky but I am not sure it's meant to do that"
me and uncle Winfield chilling by the bar
Emrah came to join us, it was Karaoke night and I was ready to sing

having a boogie to the music, did I tell you that daddy sang karaoke? He did a couple of Elvis hits and I danced with him
trying to play pool again
building sandcastles with daddy
we went on a boat ride to a little island and had a picnic, that's me eating a grilled cheese sandwich
that's the owner of the boat Charlie in the yellow shorts and the crew
trying on uncle Winfield's goggles
relaxing in the ocean around the island
we walked through the "jungle" to get to the other side of the island. I picked up a walking stick to help me through
we spotted some wild life on the island
that's Thinh (sounds like tin.) He picked up a sea urchin for everyone to see
me and uncle Winthrope in the ocean
me and daddy in the ocean
splashing daddy

that's daddy under the boat
a brittle sea star and another sea creature I can't remember the name of
me and mummy in the pool, they had a fun waterfall and cave. Daddy said a monster lives in the cave but I think he was just joking...at least I hope he was
the three of us having a frozen drink at the bar
I didn't like much of the food in Jamaica but I did like coco bread
that's me with another new friend, Neil. He was showing me some magic tricks
me, mummy and Abi on her last day in Jamaica
enjoying the pool
This is the life, all I need now is some apple juice and I will be set
me and mummy "sailing away on the gravy boat" it's a song from little bear that we sang
we went to visit Negrils lighthouse, there were a lot of stairs, so I was glad that daddy was there to carry me
me, uncle Wingate and Winfield in the lighthouse
it looked like a rocket ship
having a laugh with uncle Wingate

That's me and Kayla or Kyla playing on the sofa at the Italian Cafe
having a frozen strawberry drink, it was so yummy and cool for a hot day
chilaxing with daddy by the pool
"singing in the rain..."
don't ask, it was daddy's way of keeping my head dry I guess

making friends with a boy called Mario, we played for ages in the pool
our last night in Jamaica, me and uncle Winfield played golf on the sand
our last Jamcaican food at the airport before getting on the plane for home

Hi James, No sign or sight of you for the best part of a month on the blog and then all these amazing pictures in one go. Just marvellous. James, Jamaica - it has a nice ring to it and you look very much at home there. Now you have Grandma's visit to contend with. I hope that you are treating her well. She's already asked for more medication to be sent over. You must have tired her out. I might see you soon if the nice doctor allows me to. Best wishes. Friend Colin.
